The image features two figures seen from head to toe. The larger figure is seated and appears to be holding the smaller figure on their lap. The seated figure has their head slightly tilted towards the child and is wearing a robe with intricate patterns and a headscarf. The child has curly hair and is dressed in a simple, flowing garment, holding a long object. Both figures have radiant halos around their heads. In the background, there is a depiction of a natural scene with trees and possibly a building or structure faintly visible to the right. The entire scene is rendered in a monochromatic, etched style, with lines creating shading and texture.
