The image shows a man standing upright and leaning forward slightly, holding a long saw by the handle with both hands. He has a long beard and a serene expression. He wears a snug hat, a tunic-like garment with a scalloped hemline, a long flowing cloak, and bare feet. A simple wooden fence surrounds him, and the ground is made of stone and dirt. Rays appear to emanate behind his head in the background.
