Artist, German, 1500 - 1550

The image shows two figures, an elderly man and a younger figure with wings, seated opposite each other. The elderly man is seated to the left, with his full body visible except for his feet. He has a long beard, a bald head with a halo around it, and is wearing a tunic that reveals his muscular arms and legs. The younger figure is kneeling on the right, dressed in flowing robes with voluminous sleeves, and has short curly hair. This figure has wings emerging from their back. The younger figure is holding the elderly man's hand, and they appear to be engaged in a discussion or exchange. Above them, there is a tablet with the date "1521" and the initials "I SP." The background shows a textured wall with some natural elements like branches or plants visible.
