This is a drawing of an architectural and historical scene. The image depicts a group of figures gathered in a detailed architectural setting with a high-degree of linear perspective. The focus is a large circular building reminiscent of classical Roman architecture with arches leading to its entrance. Figures, possibly historical or mythical, are clad in flowing robes, and some are engaged in animated gestures. In the background, smaller structures with highly detailed lines and cross-hatching techniques demonstrate a classical urban environment. The entire scene is rendered in monochrome.
