This is a painting of a bird known as "Parra Sinensis." It features intricate and long tail feathers, a yellow mark on its neck, and a red eye. The body is dark brown with white feather accents on the wings. The bird is perched on a lightly sketched terrain, highlighting its elongated toes. The style is reminiscent of a 19th-century ornithological illustration like those by John James Audubon.
