The image is an etching of a woodland scene viewed from a slightly elevated angle. Two figures stand amidst a forest clearing, surrounded by large, twisted trees with lush canopies. The fine and detailed brushstrokes emphasize the textures of the tree bark, leaves, and ground. The forest continues into the distance, gradually thinning out to reveal an open landscape. The horizon is low, leading towards a distant view with small structures, water, a softly rendered sky with clouds, and birds in flight. The color palette consists of sepia tones, giving the image a warm, vintage appearance.
