The engraving depicts a bearded man seated, wearing a hat with a wide brim. He has a long, wavy beard and intense facial expression, with deep-set eyes and furrowed eyebrows. He wears a heavy robe with loose-fitting sleeves and a shell-shaped pendant around his neck. In his left hand, he holds a small sculpture of a muscular male figure. Behind him is a framed artwork showing three nude male figures and on the left background, there is another statue. The background consists of embellished linear textures.
