Artist, Flemish, 1622 - 1674

This shows a drawing of vultures feeding on a carcass. Three vultures are eating the remains of an animal on the ground. One vulture is spreading its wings, one is pecking at the carcass, and another is observing from a rock. The background features textured, cloudy skies and rough terrain. The artist used fine lines and shading to depict detail and texture in the birds and landscape, aiming for a naturalistic representation of a feeding scene.
