The image shows a scene with a dilapidated wooden structure, possibly a cabin or shed, with a partially collapsed roof. In the background, there is a line of trees against a cloudy sky. The etching technique uses fine lines to depict texture and depth. The color palette is monochromatic with a contrast between light background and dark foreground. Two small figures are seen near the cabin. A small body of water to the left reflects parts of the scene.
