This is a drawing of allegorical figures representing various human attributes and activities in a landscape scene. The composition shows four figures identified as 'Vetus,' 'Diligentia,' 'Amicus,' and 'Labor,' each accompanied by their respective symbols. 'Vetus' is holding a hoe, 'Diligentia' holds a clock and a sickle, 'Amicus' is carrying a sun disk or wheel, and 'Labor' has a shovel. The landscape includes cloud formations and a tree on the right, while a figure hovers in the clouds above. The figures wear flowing garments and the inscription at the bottom links the virtues to toil and reward.
