This is a drawing of a biblical scene. The composition is divided into two main areas: on the right, a group of figures with halos stand on steps, one central figure appears to be addressing the others. On the ground between them lies another figure, surrounded by coins and possessions. On the left, a different group of figures appears to be engaging in conversation or transactions. In the background, Romanesque architecture is depicted. The figures are detailed with intricate line work, adding drama and narrative to the piece.
