This is a drawing of a biblical scene where an angel is leading a group of prisoners out of captivity. The image shows an architectural structure with arches and a staircase. On the left side, figures in robes with halo adornments are standing closely together, following a central figure who appears to be an angel with wings and a radiant aura. The angel is gesturing forward, leading the figures down a staircase. Guards in armor on the right side of the staircase are depicted in various states of rest or sleep. Other guards are stationed on higher levels of the architecture, and there is a large circular structure resembling a coliseum or amphitheater in the background. The drawing's detailed line work and cross-hatching techniques create a somber and solemn atmosphere.
