The image shows a bust of a man from the shoulders up, facing slightly to his left. He has an aged face with pronounced facial features, including prominent cheekbones and deep-set eyes. His hair is curly, full, and flows backward from his forehead, and he has a full, curly beard and mustache. The man's clothing is not distinctly detailed, appearing to be a draped garment. The bust is against a plain, darkly shaded background that highlights the facial features. The base of the bust is inscribed with the name "IANUS LUTMA." Latin text gives information about the person's age and year of death.
