Artist, Swiss, 1741 - 1807

The image depicts two central figures with most of their bodies visible. One person is seated on the ground and leans back slightly with their legs extended, their arm resting on the other's shoulder. The other person kneels next to them, partially leaning over with their arm raised above the other's head. The facial features of the person on the left include a calm expression, and they have loose, wavy hair. Both individuals are dressed in flowing garments. No specific jewelry or objects are evident except some drapery on the ground. In the background, there are dense, wooded trees, rocky formations, and faint figures that seem to be observing from a distance.
