The image is an engraving of a group of people surrounding a reclining man. The central figure is a bearded man with a bare torso, lying on a draped fabric. To his left is another figure kneeling, and next to them is an angel with large wings. To the right of the central figure, a woman sits, holding him with one arm and gesturing upward with the other. Behind the central figure, a young man with curly hair points towards him. The scene is set against a rocky background with clouds above.
