This is a drawing of an allegorical figure interacting with nature. The image depicts a seated personification, draped in flowing fabric, holding a bird on an outstretched hand next to a body of water. To the right, a small boat rests on the shore with a few tall grasses growing nearby. At the bottom right, a turtle crawls towards the figure. In the background, a spider web is visible in the upper left, stretching between branches.
