The image shows vertical, colorful stripes in varying widths creating a pattern. The left side has wider stripes in muted tones of brown, yellow, blue, pink, green, and gray, while the right side transitions into thinner stripes in similar hues. The surrounding area is a plain, cream border, framing the design which is labeled at the bottom with "SMITHSONIAN RESIDENT ASSOCIATE PROGRAM TENTH ANNIVERSARY 1975" in an elegant, modern font.
