Artist, Italian, 1597 - 1646

The image features three people in varying poses. The central figure is an elderly man sitting on the edge of a basin, his upper body and part of his legs visible, draped with a cloth around his waist. Another figure, to the left, is sitting in patterned clothing, seemingly writing or drawing on a document. A third figure is mostly concealed, with only his head and shoulders visible. Two additional figures in the background are partially obscured by a large drapery. The setting appears to be indoors with a curtain or tapestry hanging down.
