This is a drawing of a scene set in a stone-walled chamber. A group of figures surrounds another who is seated and restrained by ropes. The seated figure has a dramatic posture and expression. The group around them appears engaged in discussion or pointing towards the central figure. There is a play of light and shadow from a fire at the bottom, casting dramatic shadows. The background textures emphasize the intense atmosphere of the setting.
