The image depicts seven men gathered around a table. Six men are seated and one man is standing behind them. The men have long hair, wear large brimmed hats, have prominent noses and mustaches, and wear period attire, possibly from the 17th century. Several men hold objects like a pen or paper, and there is a small cup on the table. The table is covered with a richly patterned cloth. The background is plain, highlighting the group of men as the central focus.
