The image shows several people gathered around a bed in a rustic setting. An elderly person lies on the bed, supported by pillows and a blanket. They have white hair and a beard, with their eyes closed. Three other people are also present: a young woman in a dark dress, a young man leaning over the bed, and a younger girl. Another woman is partially visible standing nearby. The background shows a modest room with wooden walls and ceiling beams. A curtain hangs from the ceiling, and a curved sword or large knife is mounted on the wall. A small table with a pitcher and a hanging basket add to the setting.
