Associated Names
Cristofano Robetta

Artist, Italian, 1462 - 1535 or after

The image shows a complex scene with several figures. A woman sits elevated, holding a child, between two tall columns. Above them are three ethereal figures. The woman and child have halos behind their heads. A bearded man stands beside them. Other figures are around them, engaging in various activities. Some have long, wavy hair and wear layered clothing. In the background, there are animals, more people approaching, rocky terrain, and a structure. Hills or mountains are faintly visible in the distance under a cloudy sky.
