The image is a black-and-white engraving depicting a religious scene. In the upper portion, a woman is shown ascending amongst clouds, with her hands clasped in front of her. She has closed eyes and long flowing hair. Surrounding her are cherubs with wings. Below her, a group of figures are gathered, appearing to witness the scene. They have various expressions and hairstyles, and are dressed in draped clothing. The background consists of dense cloud formations.
