The image shows nine men at a table set for a meal, with food and drink in front of them. Some are seated, while two stand behind the chairs. One man raises his hand with an open palm. The men are engaged in conversation. They wear knee-length coats, waistcoats, and breeches, along with hats or wigs typical of the 18th century. Their facial features vary, with most having prominent noses and curly or wavy hair. Two standing individuals have different postures. A barefoot server in draped garments approaches with a tray. The background is simple, focusing on the group at the table.
