Artist, Venetian, before 1500 - 1564

The image depicts two full-body figures standing close to each other in an outdoor setting. The woman is leaning against a tree, facing slightly left with her head turned. She has long, wavy hair and wears a robe with loose, draping sleeves. The man stands behind her, also leaning on the tree with one arm, and has short hair with a long beard. He wears a patterned tunic with puffed sleeves and matching leg coverings. In the lower left corner, a dog lies at the base of the tree. The background shows a landscape with a building or structure in the distance, against rolling hills and a sky with horizontal lines suggesting clouds or wind. The scene is rendered in a detailed, sketch-like style.
