This is an artwork showing two figures in a confrontation below a balcony on a building. The linework and shading suggest a scene where two individuals in hats are engaged in a dynamic movement near an arched entrance. Above them, two other figures appear to be leaning over a balcony. The architecture of the building is sketched with simple lines to depict a vertical façade with an overhanging roof and arched windows. The style is similar to that of Edouard Manet, characterized by loose and expressive line work.
