The image shows three people from the waist up. On the left, a man stands upright, looking slightly to the right. He has short, neatly combed hair and distinct facial features, dressed in a dark suit and a white shirt with a high collar. In the center, a woman with her head tilted downwards wears a bonnet adorned with ribbons and a large bow under her chin, along with a dark cloak. Her face is partly obscured by the bonnet's brim. On the right, another man with a receding hairline and spectacles is shown leaning slightly forward while holding an open book. He wears a similar dark suit and white shirt as the man on the left. All three stand before a table on which lie papers and an inkwell. The background is a simple crosshatched pattern.
