The image shows a sketched scene from a slightly elevated point of view, looking towards a group of buildings. The horizon is positioned at the upper third of the drawing, with the buildings, including a prominent tower, visible along it. The sketch is executed with delicate lines and soft shading. The brushstrokes are minimal, primarily composed of pencil lines and light watercolor wash to indicate depth and form. The overall color palette is subdued, consisting mostly of muted browns and grays, complementing the natural tan of the paper. Trees and foliage partially frame the view closest to us, with subtle hints of their forms leading the eye towards the structures in the distance.
