The image shows two women engaged in a seated position. The woman on the right is seated on what appears to be a cushioned bench, holding a thread and a small object in her hands, while the other woman kneels beside her, gesturing with her hands. The woman on the left has her head turned towards the seated woman, with her hair covered by a scarf or shawl. The seated woman has her head slightly inclined, with her hair tucked under a cap or headdress that is adorned. Both women are dressed in flowing, ornate garments with intricate patterns and detailed embroidery. The sitting woman wears a decorative necklace, and the surface they are on displays woven or knit materials. Behind them, a large piece of elaborately patterned drapery hangs, next to a window showing a faint landscape with a soft sky and trees.
