This is a drawing of a man lying down with a horse observed above. The bottom portion shows a man dressed in ornate clothing, lying down with one arm extended holding a book or document. Above him, a detailed portrayal of a horse in a stable setting is separated by what appears to be a structural support or partition. The horse is depicted in a three-quarter view, showcasing its muscular form. The scene is composed with an emphasis on line work and hatching effects to give depth and texture.
