The image shows a minimalist sketch of boats on water. A boat in the foreground is drawn with bold lines suggesting depth, dimension and shadows. Another boat is depicted to the right, and in the distance a horizon line is present with a vertical element resembling a post or buoy. The water's surface is represented with simple curves and lines. The illustration uses a monochromatic color palette of black and beige. The style is loose and gestural, conveying the scene with an economy of line.
