The horizon is high in the image, showing a townscape with a dome and spires against the sky. A procession is seen on a winding path below. Carriages pulled by horses, people in period attire, some mounted, move along. Onlookers observe on the right. Along the riverbank are large trees with sketched textures. The color palette is soft with muted tones. Buildings and path details are outlined with pen and ink.
