The image shows two figures visible from the shoulders upwards. The first figure on the left is depicted with a hand holding a sheer, veiled fabric covering their face. Their facial features are delicately drawn, with a gentle expression, and long hair slightly visible beneath the veil. The second figure on the right is facing forward, with distinct facial features highlighted by strong shadows. This figure has short, thick hair gathered into a bun. They are wearing a dark, textured garment. The stark contrast between the two figures is emphasized by the absence of a veil on the second person. The overall tone of the image is monochromatic with a textured, gradient gray background. The artwork is signed "Castillo" in a script style at the bottom right corner.
