This black-and-white photograph shows a man holding a large rectangular wooden board across his shoulders. The board carries stacks of several bricks, which he balances with one hand, the other resting on his hip. He stands upright, looking right at us. The man has pale skin, a straight nose, a furrowed brow, and thin lips in a neutral position. He wears a flat cap, a long-sleeved shirt, a buttoned vest, and trousers, and he is in front of a solid black background. There is a shadow over his legs and the left side of his torso.
