This is a drawing of a nighttime scene featuring a cloaked figure, a child, and a young woman engaged with a candlelit sphere. The scene has lush foliage and a background of trees and a wooden structure. The cloaked figure holds a candle illuminating the faces of those present, adding dramatic lighting to the scene. There is a wheel on the right, possibly part of a spinning wheel, suggesting domestic activity. The setting is detailed, from the texture of the fabric to the delicate leaves on the branches. The contrast between the deep shadows and the softly lit characters adds depth to the composition.
