The image is an engraving of a man with wavy hair, sharp eyebrows, and a straight nose, wearing armor and a white cloth near his neck. The bust-length portrait is set within an ornate oval frame with a decorative background of floral motifs and baroque elements. Below the portrait are various symbolic items, including a lion's face, scrolls, an upturned vessel, and draped fabric. In the background, a bas-relief shows an ancient battle scene with soldiers and a fortified city.
