The image shows a distant landscape with a horizon slightly below the middle of the composition. Silhouettes of buildings and trees can be seen against the sky. In the foreground, loose strokes depict an open field with scattered marks. The brushstrokes are quick and suggestive. The color palette is monochromatic, using black shades against an off-white background. The sky is minimally depicted with subtle cloud-like lines.
