This is a drawing of a classical bust in a lush, leafy environment. The scene is intricately detailed, with the bust placed atop a plinth which is surrounded by dense foliage and branches cascading with leaves. The background is filled with finely etched textures of leaves and stems. On the plinth, there is an engraved dedication that reads "Les Soirees de Rome" with additional text below. In the foreground, a couple of jars rest amid the vegetation. The drawing uses elaborate lines and cross-hatching techniques to illustrate depth and detail in an ancient garden or Roman setting.
