This is a drawing of mythical figures amidst swirling clouds. The scene depicts several mythological beings, prominently featuring winged cherubs and a figure holding a staff with a trident. The composition is intricately filled with sweeping, cloudy forms. One central figure appears to be in motion, rising out of the clouds, another figure seems to be seated atop the vapor. The detailed linework renders a contrast between the earthbound elements and the dynamic aerial scene above. The scene is set against a background that includes rocky and barren terrain and trees, framing the action in an otherworldly landscape.
