Artist, American, 1887 - 1986

This drawing showcases flowing, curved lines and shapes against a gray background. At the top is a dark, oval shape held up by a curved platform underneath a dark arch. Some sections of the background appear to drip down in front of the arch, towards the oval shape. Surrounding the platform are white lines that curve inward and extend down, resembling cascading water or the tendrils of a sea anemone. The background is patchy and gray, with a lighter section around the dark arch. The drawing is surrounded by a rectangular black border.
