The image is a tranquil riverside landscape viewed from above. The river flows downstream, with a dense tree line obscuring the far distance. The drawing is in a sketchy pencil style, depicting the foliage and water texture. The color palette is monochromatic, using shades of gray. Smooth stones are seen near the river's edge, leading to the flowing water. Trees line the opposite bank, with varying depths of leaves and branches. Diminutive figures can be seen along the right side for scale.
