Artist, British, 1790 - 1864

This painting depicts an interior hallway with tall wooden paneling on both sides, leading towards an arched window in the distance. The ceiling is vaulted with curved beams, and there is an elaborate chandelier hanging in the center. The floor is paved with red bricks, and there is a combination of natural and subdued lighting. The style is reminiscent of English architectural depictions from the mid-18th to 19th century.
