This is a drawing of figures surrounding a large celestial sphere. A group of nude figures are positioned around an ornately decorated globe featuring stars and astrological symbols, reaching out towards it. Atop the celestial sphere sits a bearded figure, depicted in a position of authority, with clouds and numerous smaller figures surrounding him. Above the scene in the clouds are rows of figures who appear to be observing the event. The drawing is executed in a style reminiscent of Renaissance engraving, with intricate lines and careful attention to detail.
