André Cadere

Sculptor, Romanian, 1934 - 1978

Fifty-two straight-sided wood beads in white, black, blue, and red are stacked, presumably around a dowel or wire, so the resulting staff-like column stands on a gray floor and leans against a white wall. The beads do not form a regular pattern but each color is represented in each grouping of four beads.
