He has deeply set eyes, a high forehead, bushy eyebrows, a full, long beard, and a mustache merging into the beard. He has bald hair on top with fringe on the sides. He is dressed in a detailed buttoned garment with a high collar, resembling a historical outfit. Around him within an oval frame are various artistic instruments like a palette and brushes. The background has a textured or dotted pattern common in engravings. Text surrounds the oval frame and additional text is present below the image.
