The figure on the left is seated with her legs bent and crossed, leaning slightly to her left, while one arm rests across her chest and the other is laid across her abdomen. The figure on the right is seated in a more reclined position with knees bent up towards her chest, one arm resting on her knee, and the other across her chest. Both figures appear to be nestled against a neutral-toned drapery that serves as a background, with soft, muted colors and shadows casting depth around them.
