The image shows a man from the waist up. He is seated and angled to the side. His facial features include a furrowed brow, a prominent nose, and a thick, full beard. He wears a cap that covers his head and a heavy coat with a fur-trimmed collar. A textured scarf or garment is visible under the coat. In one hand, he holds small objects, possibly tools, while the other hand rests on papers or documents. The background is plain and textured, drawing focus to the subject. The name "IOANNES LUTMA AURIFE" is inscribed at the bottom of the image.
