This is a black and white image of a snow-covered mountain slope. The snow appears sculpted on the mountain with smooth curves and sharp edges. The landscape extends into the distance with rugged peaks poking into the sky. The sky is partially visible and filled with dense, textured clouds. The lack of a horizon in the photograph emphasizes the vertical elements of the image. The monochromatic palette emphasizes light and shadow contrasts, giving a stark quality to the scene.
