The image shows two rows of young boys. The top row is standing and the bottom row is kneeling on the ground. There are ten boys in total. All are wearing similar outfits with short-sleeved shirts, ties or neckerchiefs, shorts, and knee-length socks. Some boys in the top row are holding objects such as sticks. The boys' hairstyles are short. The background features large, leafy trees providing shade, and there are more people slightly blurred in the background. The photograph is in black and white.
