The image shows a woman sitting on a rock or elevated surface. She holds a long branch in her right hand and her left hand rests on her lap. She looks downward with a serene expression, wearing a long gown and barefoot. In the background are gnarled trees, a satyr playing a flute, another smaller satyr holding onto the woman's gown, and a sleeping leopard next to a bowl. The inscription "Benedeto Montagna" is at the top of the image.
